Should qualify as vintage? It's a restocked, rebadged Arizmendi/Norica 73, marketed by Beeman in the '80s, though the basic design is much older..
(Later, Beemans marketed the same gun as the FXII)
Bought it used, in near unfired condition, visually, but the bore had been badly gouged, near the muzzle during machining, (had to chop/re-crown/lap)
Piston seal needed replacement, trigger had WAY too much overtravel, and a basic tune smoothed it out some.
Once these problems had been corrected, accuracy became acceptable. Kept wondering how such a poor specimen ever got endorsed by Dr Beeman.
Alot of times I'll buy used, only to find I've bought someone else's problems. Anybody ever fool with one of these? Light, handy lil' gun. Tolerably decent shooter now. But what an almighty trial to rescue it!

Very interesting! I remember seeing those in The Good Doc’s catalogs, but don’t know that I’ve ever seen one in the flesh.
I know that back in the day the Norica guns were quite highly thought of, but never quite seemed to catch on here as Beeman’s entry-level fare.
I’d be very interested to see some more photos of the little fella.
