The shot was a tad low, but effective none the less. Nicely done. I feel for your pooch wrt the fleas. I absolutely abhor parasites on my pets and my property. Got rid of a flea problem some years ago, but for the most of this year I've had to contend with ticks. Got them under control recently and it wasn't easy since a lot of people here leave their tick infested pets to roam around freely. Rat, possum, doesn't matter much to me. If it's a vector for parasites it's gotta go. But I hope you sealed him up well and disposed of the carcass immediately after. The ones that were on it would jump off not long after it expired

The ones that were on it would jump off not long after it expiredif you have ticks leave the possums be! they can consume up to 500 ticks daily. i use a hav a heart to capture the ones in my yard then transport them to one of my hunting permissions.
