Effect of Pellet Weight in my 2560 HPA

I now have a bunch of different pellet weights in .25 cal because of the NOE pellets I cast last week.... I dragged out my 2560 HPA, which is regulated at 1800 psi and tuned to shoot the 25.4 gr. JSB Kings at 960 fps.... and tested the velocity with four different weights of the NOE Target, NOE Hunters, and NOE Magnums, plus the JSB King Heavy Mk.IIs…. Here are the results....
The FPE peaks with the NOE Hunters, just slightly higher than with the Kings.... and then drops off a bit with the Mk.II Heavies and the Magnums.... I suspect there is just not enough pressure at 1800 psi with the porting this gun has for the heavy pellets.... Anyways, I thought it was interesting....
