Nice design Bob.I bought some of this bulk silica gel with the color changing indicators. Works well, I recondition it in the microwave.
I would caution against using a microwave for reconditioning as the temperature in the silica beads is not controlled (can get far too hot locally) and can shorten the life time of the product. Better to commandeer a toaster oven, in my opinion. Takes a little longer, but should not cause micro-cracking and other harmful effects.
My toaster oven has shielded elements, yours may be different. Can't use the gas oven, one because I value my life (SWMBO)
I have been printing with filament stored in a damp garage in oregon for a couple of years. What effect does the dampness have on prints? I wasn’t aware of the need to do this.
