PANSAL Spring Break 2014 has been set for May 2, 3, 4.
It should be a good time as always...after all, its 3 full days of shooting airguns!!

For those that dont know what it is check out the website and/or read below (copied/edited from a previous PANSAL anouncement)...

PANSAL Spring Break is a 3 day airgun event held in the desert of southwest Idaho.
It is for airguns only but on many occasions, those with powder
guns just venture away from the main group. It is primarily for shooting at
'live' field targets (ground squirrels) but often there is an abundance of
targets brought out by members for those that don't like live targets.

A valid hunting license is required in Idaho so have one on your
person in case Fish and Game stops in to check things out (they stopped the
last few years). One of the times the F&G guy wanted to check us out
and make sure we were legit. We think the appearance of some of the
guns that year attracted attention. By the way, he was surprised that
airguns like those we had existed. Also, this is open range and there are
many folks now using this area -- so -- keep in mind not all folks are
safety minded and wearing something that is easily seen at a distance is a
good idea. I have heard bullets passing overhead from powder shooters
shooting at a target on the ridgeline before. Most adult shooters know where
the projectile goes but some apparently don't.

Your right, that is a very large area.  Its about 15 miles NNW of Caldwell, ID...but that still puts it out in the middle of BLM land.  I should have included a map, or a link to a map, or someplace to get more information in the initial post.   ;)

Here is the map section of the PANSAL website, the software wont let me post a link but a copy/paste will get you there.

It looks like you are in SE Idaho...there is a group of airgunners in Pocatello that do a bunch of FT and benchrest.  At least one of them comes to this event every year.
