German AirGun Gate / Re: Is there a competitor for the HW 50?« Last post by HectorMedina on Today at 02:04:15 PM »It was nice to see the Diana 280 brought up. I don't see it mentioned much at all. I absolutely love mine. For the shooting I do I couldn't ask for a better all around rifle. I wish it was still available. Hello Bill, Happy to see you are still happy! Keep well and shoot straight! Crosman-Benjamin Air Gun Gate / Re: Extended Pump 1322« Last post by Mzq284 on Today at 01:58:54 PM »Did you have to cock your gun first to pump with that spring? It takes the right balance for the
I did at first, but I think the hammer spring has taken a little set as I don't have to now. But I'm in the habit of opening the bolt on my pumpers before I pump them up, so not a problem. While you're in the valve, drop in a Marauder valve stem, they're a harder plastic and easier to knock open. 2 bucks from Crosman, part number 1700-140. Do you happen to know how much shorter is a 66 tube than a 2100/2200 tube? I have a 66 that needs seals, but I can't warm up to the plastic receiver and I don't shoot much 177 at all. I only paid $10 for it so a short carbine might be a better use for it. I've always drooled over the Mannlicher-Schoennher carbines, yours looks just like one. Maybe I'll finally have one without going into debt! Also, what stock is that? Thanks, Van 3

The sweet and spice goes well with the salty savory of the fishYes, a sweet salsa would work nicely! A popular Asian method is to make 3 vertical slits on each of the body, rub on salt, and then cook it right on the grill. Get a nice, crispy char on the skin. Add a mango or peach salsa, and it should be primo! Now, I want to make this! 😆 6

Back Room / Re: Our Outside Cat ... got stoned & went Bug hunting« Last post by Moke on Today at 01:15:28 PM »Ahh,.... Stink Bugs.
I really like them. I always pick them up, and move them off the patio, as i don't want to step on them. My cat caught an early season grasshopper a few days ago. It was funny watching her from a distance as she stalked it, as I couldn't see the bug, and it looked like she was attacking invisible objects, again. 10

Had too much already when I was still in the Philippines My MIL told me it’s excruciating right now, so my son is preparing himself for the onslaught when he goes there on the 1st week of May for a fortnight of vacation. Good thing he’ll be bringing a luggage of goodies—-all are not suited for the American taste though, lol—-when he gets back Some of my faves are dried squid, glazed pili nuts (super delicious nuts and healthy nuts, I tell you), and fruit cakes from Robinson’s and the kind that gives you a buzz 🐝 The ones I’ve tasted here are too sweet and without the bite |
