I got these and fixed them recently the 400 arrived today with a broken butt plate due to poor packing. Anyone have a Crosman 400 butt plate for sale? or know where to get one?

Anyone have a Crosman 400 butt plate for sale? or know where to get one? Ask Rick at Precision Pellet http://www.airgunshop.net/He has some old stock Crosman butt plates. They're oversized so you screw them on and sand the edge to fit your stock. Perfect replacement for my Crosman 118 after fitting.Jon
That's how they're installed at the factory. The butt plate is sanded to match the stock. Every stock is slightly different.
New butt plate fitted, thanks!

I could've mentioned you can protect the finished stock with masking tape and sand the butt plate until the sandpaper just begins to touch the tape. You can get real close without scratching the finish.
Looks like a great collection you got going there.... I just love the oldies.
If I refinish the stock it will be perfect after I am done, it is close enough for now, it looks good.

You have a nice collection. My Crosman 118 suffered the same kind of damage to the butt plate when it was shipped to me. I added a white shim between the butt plate and the stock. It adds a little pop to the looks of the stock. Just a suggestion to consider. It's not everyone's cup of tea. Here are the before and after.
