The chassis is here in my house and wow is this thing nice! I have a few other chassis on my powder guns and they are nice, but for an airgun this is crazy. I was planning on putting one of the Rapids in the chassis but neither will go in. The MKII has the ball style safety and it isn't compatible with the chassis. The Dawson doesn't have the "V" fitting for the air inlet and the gauge. Instead it uses a foster fitting in the bottom of the rifle to fill.So will have to wait until the HM1000x comes in, but that doesn't mean I can't play with the chassis and pretend!Have to figure out how to post pictures on here again ..... argh
The chassis is the Midnight Bronze color. I was talking with MPA about getting one of the NRA Blue chassis, but they are 4-6 weeks out! Even though they show in stock on their website. I do like the color and think it will look good with the black of the rifle itself.
Yeah I can't wait to get the rifle from Martin. I have been playing with the chassis without the rifle, and my wife has been making fun of me I have one week down in the wait for the rifle, hoping next week I will hear from Martin.

GAH!!!!! I just talked with Martin and he is waiting on a part for the rifle! I know the rifle will be a heck of a shooter, but I hate waiting as well
Hey guys, I didn't realize that it has been a while since I have been on the site here! Guess work and life has really been hectic the past year and I am finally able to settle down a little. I have been shooting more NRL22 matches with my 22Lr and have a fellow shooter that has been using a Panthera and loving it. I did shoot a match with my AAA Paradigm and one with my EdGun R5M and didn't do to bad but I could have done much better. So that set me on the path of trying to find a dedicated NRL22 rifle. I really want to show the powder guys what our "toys" can do. The friend I shoot with is just about 70 and can't move all that great, so getting into positions can be a little harder for him. So the other shooters are thinking our rifles are weak and boring. Thus why I am looking for my own rifle. Now I know the FX Panthera is a heck of a rifle, but I want to do something different. Now I do already have an original Theoben Rapid MKII as well as a Dawson Rapid, so that got me to looking at the RAW rifles. I was watching one of Steves vidoes on youtube, the one about the AirForce factory walk through. While standing there talking with Ton there was an HM1000x in an MPA chassis. So started looking and it got me to thinking about building one of those rifles. Being as I already have magazines, as well as a regulator tester I feel I am ahead of the game. Now the MPA chassis I know a heck of an upgrade and will be great. The only question I have is with the poly barrels on the HM1000x will these barrels shoot slugs? I need to be able to hit at least a 1.5" target at 100 yards, and pellets are a struggle to do that at times. Especially with the wind we have up here in ND.So are any of you guys shooting these rifles with slugs, or are they a dedicated pellet gun? My other options are an Epic Two and one of the new Karma Red Panda PRS from Donnyfl. I would love to keep the rifle as an American made gun, but if it is unable to shoot at least a 30-34 grain slug it may not be a viable option. So do I add to the Theoben family........ or do I look at another option?
