Personally, I like the wall of growlers. Nice shooting too!
... Like you if I had 30 yards a 2 inch dot sounds about right to aim at with open sights.Aim small hit small
... If you like non-magnified sights, try an aperture (peep) , as long as you can keep a uniform sight picture on high contrast targets like dots on paper, you'll do great.
Thanks! I think I have only shot a .22 LR with peep sights. And I didn't do well. They really do block out quite a bit. I would think a finer front post would help a bit... That was an interesting scope. How did you come across that crossbow model? What advantage does it have over a traditional lower-powered rifle scope?
Nice shooting! You must have really good eye sight to focus on the front and not have your target all blurry. Just wait a few years... -Y
Hector,If I could just screw it into my WILLIAMS FP-AG sight I would. I do not feel like taking a flier and tapping out the Williams just to see if it would help. The threaded portion is different. Wish it wasn't! -Y
Okay Mike. You got me on that last comment. As you know, I have one of those adapters, and a Gehmann 530.I'll be the Guinea pig and try the combo on my HW30S-X. I have 20-20 with my contact lenses and I cannot focus on the front sight.I just ordered the Sinclair.

I never could figure out how to use it without going full European on the sights. So, if I get Hector's picture right, I need 2 of these adaptors?Looks interesting, maybe for Christmas? Thanks for the information.-YYou don’t need to alter the sight, you just need one of these:http://www.champchoice.com/store/Main.aspx?p=ItemDetailOptions&item=MA585Specifically designed to fit Euro-thread (9.5 mm x 1.0 mm) sight accessories into US-thread (7/32” X 40) sights. I use one to keep a Gehmann iris on an HW 50 with Williams rear sight.
