My very first castings for the Slayer .357 . Can't wait to try them out and compare them to some of the bullets I bought.
Those are really pretty. What's the weights running for each?? They staying pretty consistent?
I didn't know you were getting into casting. Looking good.
Before you buy the sizing die you well need to slug the bore, .358 my already be to small. A to small cast bullet will cause excessive led fowling.
I ordered some of that Renaissance Wax. I'll let you guys know how it goes. I also found some Boelube! I didn't realize they still made that stuff. I had some years ago and loved it, but didn't know where to find it. It just so happens Amazon has that too

I will be looking forward to your report. Does Boelube have and airgun application, as well?
Here's the machine lubricant:Here's the regular "oil" type that I ordered:
So my chinese compressor gave out. I tried to rebuild it with no instructions and now it is even worst. I have no SCBA tank that is recent enough for a hydro. Having no access to air for PCP is like having no cars. I am so tempted just to call up Joe Barranco and order one of his compressor but I just can't justify 3-4k. Going to check with a fire depart near my son school to see if they can fill to 4500psi and how much. If they do, I might just buy couple of SCBA tanks instead.
