What was group #5? Winner Winner , Chicken Dinner!
I'm a bit puzzled with the JSBs again, they didn't group like yesterday.

I notice a difference when shooting my springers with (sometimes almost imperceptible) changes in my hold. Not just where I hold the stock but with how much pressure, or where my thumb is on the grip, or how much pressure I put on my cheek weld (on one, anything more than a "butterfly kiss" and she starts throwing shots everywhere). I shoot off my palm and one gun does NOT like my fingers anywhere near the stock, another allows my fingers to touch the stock but feels the need to act up if it doesn't like what I'm resting that hand on. A couple people around here used to joke that they made a great shot because they "had their tongue in the right spot".It's a slow but fun learning curve figuring out exactly what the preferences of your springer are, and it goes way beyond just what pellet it likes. The best part is once you've got it mostly figured out it's incredibly satisfying being able to shoot well with a "cheap Chinese" springer. I made a target sheet with real-ish size drawings of house flies and love sitting down to pick 'em off at 10 meters with my .177 Airhawk (Chinese XS-25).Blue
Mine (Browning Leverage in .22) really liked JSB 14.35 gr domes, but it took awhile to figure that out. After a really good cleaning of the barrel, the JSBs would group a little sloppy. I'd have to put 100 or so shots through it before they (the JSBs) would tighten back up. Though hardly a Field Target worthy gun, it was a squirrel destroyer at thirty yards and in, with a cheap 3-9x32 and those JSB 14.35s.
I am late to the dance, but I must say that is a very good looking piece.
