It’s good for filling pony bottles not guns it’ll probably get air locked on a gun. The CS2 is great , it’s simple, it’s small, light , parts are available and customer service is responsive. I have several compressors yet I ordered the CS2 as a vehicle compressor. I think if you bleed off the air several times during the fill it should get rid of most if the moisture. Why a CS2 instead of the Yong Heng? It’s $200 more with the same features. An extended warranty can be bought for the YH for $35. If the CS2 is a better compressor though, then that’s the way I should go. Thanks.(Ultimately I will just be topping off my 1/2 hour firefighter tanks from maybe 3500 to 4500.)I wouldn't suggest the dry compressors for that bottle. Even just filling a 100 ci bottle with 10 minute duty cycles and 30 minute breaks was too much for my dry compressor. It died while filling a bottle.

Not familiar with tanks at all—don’t they have a valve that can be closed to allow the same effect?Close tank valve. Bleed compressor fill line. Stop compressor.Close compressor fill line bleeder. Start compressor. When compressor fill line pressure is greater than tank, open tank valve.

Do you happen to have an Amazon link? Thanks.
Thanks Mike, then that’s the way I’ll go.
Got ya... would a male foster with a check in it like the ones on our guns basically do the same if used in an inline filter?
I hear, don't be cheap and save a finger or 2. I've experienced a male to male coupler left go at 3500 psi or so... it ain't no joke. It was like 2 rattlesnakes whipping around the room both trying to bite me.
