The Striker stock's fore end screw holes were about 1/8" - 3/16" off
I used J.B. Weld as the adhesive. I put down a light layer of the epoxy, then applied three layers with reinforcement made from strips of extremely fine copper screen. The middle layer was cut on a 45˚ bias to the inner and outer layers. That should be more than enough tensile strength.

The stock was a drop-in fit. All the mounting holes were smack on.ONLY---- The groove for the cocking lever was designed for a 1-piece lever. The V-Max (at least mine) has the earlier hinged lever.No biggy. I took my Craftsman rotary tool with the rasp head, and routed the channel large enough to work.
