TP was placed at the breach. Yes I did test the RWS came out same fps. I did notice a burnt smell when firing. Also used a needle probe at the hole where air comes out from the piston and it only has about one inch of displacement when cocked. I知 going to open it all up later. Thanks

What?If you placed the toilet paper on the breech and it blew a hole in the toilet paper, then the problem is your breech seal.Otherwise, I have no idea what you are talking about?? -Y
So you put toilet paper over the muzzle and dry fired it?Or put it across the breech and locked up on it?Typically the toilet paper is just laid on top to check if the seal leaks when fired.
A full-power Mod.95 .22 cal (you didn't mention the caliber, but the pellet weights mentioned point to this) should shoot close to 800 fps with mid-weight pellets.I reckon the most likely explanation for a good-condition H95 off Ebay shooting under 600 fps @ .22 cal would be that the gun was made for restricted markets. A 16J limit, effective in several European countries, would fit nicely with the measured velocity.
Not seeing anything unusual so far... FYI: Don't dry fire a Springer.. it needs the resistance of the pellet to "cushion" the blow.... don't want the piston to slam.Since you got it off ebay, where was the seller located? I am wondering how you were able to post pics with this low of a post count. HA!Used to be you needed 20 posts under your belt before you could attach photos.Somebody likes you.
Chrono results a little better 580-600 fps but still not where it should be. Definitely shoots a lot smoother No more harsh twang and pellet loading with CPHP getting easier. Maybe Toxylon is right, it may be a velocity restricted model. I値l try to explore into getting full power springs. Maybe I値l get a Vortek spring. 😜
MikeyBThanks for the idea. After reassembly and tune up. I was definitely more movement out of that piston face when cocked. Could not tell by how much but my 3 inch probe did not touch bottom. The spring displacement was only couple of inches using my hand held compressor which may be the issue here. Checked on Hatsan website and did not find any springs.
If it's accurate... choot it!
