USPS Problems

(1/2) > >>

WesBob:
Hi Guys! Well, it's weird thing as a Canadian to deal with US shipping companies rejecting air guns and airgun parts, rather than our own shipping companies here in Canada, but lately I've been having trouble with USPS. They seem to have gotten some zealous anti gun guys in the Mail security in Los Angeles and Chicago, and they have been rejecting some of my airgun parts packages to customers.
I haven't been having trouble with Purolator courier so far so I'm going to temporarily switch off the USPS shipping option, and just use Purolotor, which is unfortunate because USPS is a lot cheaper. I've lodged a complaint with USPS, so I guess we'll see what comes of it. So far as I can see in their regulations they have no restriction on airgun parts, but they seem to think so.
All the best to everyone and happy shooting!
Wes

WesBob:
I should add that if you have some parts you want to order that could be described in a way that is not dishonest but doesn't come across as a gun part feel free to email me at support@airgunarcheryfun.ca and request an invoice with the usps cheap shipping. I don't mind shipping that way, I am just not happy with getting packages returned.
Thanks,
Wes

Funny, I just ordered an dovetail to weaver adapter for my HW75 from the UK and the label said, "Camera adapter." It was opened by Customs (big green Homeland Security sticker on the packaged, "Examined") which is the first time I've ever seen that.

Madd Hatter:
BB gun parts.

Hoosier Daddy:
How about "Pneumatic Equipment" or "Pneumatic Parts".
 Honest and straight forward.

Unfortunately you have "airgun***" in the return address.
