So, as mentioned I sold an airgun. I've been thinking about what I wanted to buy. I considered the NOTOS but they are out of stock everywhere and I don't do the pre-order thing.... at all.Thought about the Jet 1 but I think that gun would leave me wishing I would have got the NOTOS instead. Then suddenly the little light bulb in my head came on.... what would be the best thing I could buy to enhance my airgun experience.... I GOT IT !!!! Casting equipment.1. Being retired I am always looking for things to occupy my time... casting would fill some of that void.2. I have so many junk pellets around here that I have bought over the years and none of my guns shoot them well... why not turn them into usable ammo.3. No more dealing with "out of stock" or "due to xxxx the price has doubled" or "sorry, this item cannot be shipped to your area" blah blah blah BS. Or the worse thing.. pi$$ poor packing. Here's the way I'm looking at things.....177 are the least expensive and readily available and I have a boatload of them on hand.My .22 guns virtually all like the same pellet... same with my .25 guns. I could invest in one or 2 moulds for each and all would be happy. And the best part... what is it you can do airgun related that actually saves you money as opposed to costing you money? Cast your own ammo. And I really think I would enjoy doing it.So, I think I'll head on over to the casting gate, ask a buttload of questions, gather the information and suggestions and then begin shopping.

NOE is pretty much the only off the shelf option for pellet molds. If you know a talented machinist you could possibly provide a blank mold and a drawing and have one cut for you.

Metal Supermarket for any metal needed.
Got home from work last night, no internet, so I put the long .22 barrel I just got, on my Chaser Safe Pack Pistol, carbine conversion project. tossed a rifle scope on it and did some sight in shots. Today will do some crony shots and ammo test, much quieter to do now I can put the silencer on again Waiting on a HitFire folding stock to make it's way from Germany to finish it off.

Is that a rear pic rail for the folding part? Too bad it only works with the "pistol" uppers, I'm using a 177 Stormrider upper on my Bottle Bandito.
I made a Pellet trap today, finally. It's been on the drawing pad for a while... took some thinking by looking at others and what I wanted and the resources.Mine is 14x14 inches due to the metal back plate (leftover from a backsplash). I had HomeDepot cut some 3/4 plywood. It's still incomplete as I need 6 more bricks of DuctSeal and a handle.Should I paint or seal it ?
