Marshmallows in a pond or a creek make good targets!
I found something that is a new, well, to me anyway, reactive target for shooting air guns or even a 22 powder burner. I found some 'petrified' marshmellows when cleaning out my Mom's apt a while back. Both small and large ones. I have tried both with air gun and WOW do they explode!!I am going to build a target holder for outdoor rifle range that has a small shelf to set the marchmellows on to shoot at them. I think my 12 year old grand son will enjoy that! He is getting better at shooting with Grandpa's coaching.
I hate marshmallows... but that is a good idea... biodegradable and reactive... thanks!
That reminds me of when I was a kid. My father's favorite cousin had a house on a slow moving river. We would take a bottle and throw it up stream, then race to his upstair study window and try and hit the bottle with an old .177 BSA as it slowly floated by. I think I was 6 or 7.Strange thing is, my father's cousin was a big ecologist and if you hit the bottle just right, it would break and sink, otherwise just clank.O to be young again........ -Y
