I have a Browning Leverage .22 Cal. I generally like it, but it is heavy at 8+ pounds. Has anyone taken one apart and weighed the metal part and the wooden stock to know how much weight is in each? I'm wondering if there are any synthetic stocks available that would reduce the weight.

I would try contacting Mike at Flying Dragon air rifles, I believe he sells the XS46u which I believe is the same rifle, so he will likely have parts for the them

It's an underlever springer- being on the heavy side is just the nature of the beast.

They are heavy, the majority may be in the wood stock?
