Bad buying experience with Desertplinker

I really am not happy to make this post but I want everyone to be aware of my transaction with Desertplinker.
I bought an Air Arms S500 that he recently listed. The listing link is here:
https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=168050.0
I asked the seller if there were any marks or blemishes on the rifle and how would he rate its appearance? He responded: "I would rate it 98% really don't think there are any marks on it." With that information I was assured I was getting a rifle in basically new condition cosmetically.
I have attached pictures of what I received. Desertplinker never disclosed the routed out forend and the aluminum rail that was installed. I have no desire for a rail as I shoot offhand and my hand snags on it every time I mount the rifle. I would never have bought the rifle if I knew the rail was on there.
I contacted Desertplinker with my concerns that the rifle was misrepresented and I wanted to return it and get my money back. He said no.
That's all I am going to say. I have attached pictures of what I received. You All can draw your own conclusions.
Thank you,
Taso

I can't see any type of bracket in the listings pic and i zoomed in on it on my pc. to me it looks like a typical sling stud mount and if it wasn't disclosed when asked about, i'd be upset too. also not divulging the "wing" set screw on the power
adjustment
in the original post is bogus imo.
too bad, i hate to see this happen on here. i hope you both can come to an amicable agreement.

That is too bad because other than those couple items it looks like a very nice rifle and it was sold at a reasonable price to boot. That's the bad part about doing little customizations to these guns. What one person thinks is an upgrade the next guy hates it and would never own a gun with such mods. Hopefully you two work things out. This is the first time in over a year I have seen negative feedback.
