So, where were you guys BEFORE I pulled this bone-headed move?!!! Don't feel bad or I'll tell you about blowing a 222 Remington LITERALLY apart when I was learning to not trust other's memory on pet loads!! My ears are still ringing 55 years later!!! Or the time, I stuck a hunting knife to the bone in my knee. I can still trace the nerve I cut up my leg. Or the time, I got hit by a ricochet and had to pull a bullet out of my thigh in the deep dark woods! And those are only the minor ones!!Point is, we all screw up. YOU DIDN'T! you followed the directions from the manufacturer who wasn't particularly precise in his directions. Best thing is that you learned without bleeding for the lesson (I did in all those above!) You will recover!!! Have fun and use good safety habits and you'll do fine with it.
