I seriously doubt you see any real increase in the value or resale of BAM guns. They were imported and sold by the 1000's and airgun buyers (for now anyway) don't seem willing to pay top dollar for Chinese guns. Even those that have been discontinued/no longer imported. I think it's safe to say that you'll get fair market value for them based on condition (more if Mike did a tune prior to selling and you have documentation to prove so). The only 2 Industry Brand guns that I think are drawing a premium are the recoilless BS4 (rifle) and SS2 (pistol). I don't think very many were sold here in the US and no one(to my knowledge) is currently importing them.

Well I know B30s are hard to find. As is the Tech Force SS2 pistol (FWB 65MK-II clone). I have it on good authority that the B30 was no longer imported because the B21 was being left on the shelves in favor of the B30.

The good ones will survive, they could go up some but will never be real collectables like some models. I do get requests from guys once in awhile that are looking for China models that are no longer avaible, paying good money if they can be found...only time will tell so shoot'm

You need to have the knowledge, as the London cabbies say. There's an old quite true story about a farmer in South Africa who sold his land to go diamond hunting. The fellow who bought it had a mining friend over one day, and a large crystal on the mantle caught this fellow's eye. He asked to examine it, asked where it was from, and was told the little stream on the property. There were lots of shiney stones in there and this one was extra pretty. It turned out to be the largest white diamond discovered and I believe that farm is now the site of the Kimberly mines. So, what's good in terms of Chinese BAM's? Well, I would say, at least, the B50, B40 and B28. Close enough copies of the originals for the price. But most people, currently, don't realize the potential these guns have. I just passed on a fully pro-tuned B40 in .22 that I could have had for $275. That is with a new $70 Vortek kit, to boot. Is it an Air Arms? Son, for $275 from the shop of a well-known tuner, who the h3ll cares? And I also passed on another JM kitted gun for $200. That's shipped, brother, in excellent condition. Both guns had no takers for a long time. Hey, sometimes what you DON'T know CAN hurt you. Just got a nice little RWS320 yesterday. I know that it is no R9 but the trigger is very decent, accuracy is good and the stock well finished. Ashamed to say what I paid for it but it was well under what an R9 parts gun would go for. Acres of diamonds - right in their own backyard.
Mike, hang in there. The sun's gonna come back out.

Well, I'm shootin my B30. It needs a bit of repair, but (the op block is loose), and I'm using the less-than-perfect front sight/muzzle brake, but I'm getting used to the rifle bit by bit. Open sight shooting is a nice challenge for me. I'm only shooting at 9 yards inside. I'm shooting at printer paper taped to a think and wide board that even my -87 can't penetrate. I start by just shooting one pellet then trying to hit the hole I just made. It's hard to see at first (old eyes). Today I repeated this, and the first three shots were very nearly the same hole. I decided to go for ten shots. Well, I'm not the greatest shot, but I scored ten shots in a nickel-sized circle. I took a picture with my cell phone. I'll try to post it as soon as I can. I know it's not great shooting. Well, it is for me.

I don't think so...Sorry. But they sure are asking alot for their Chinese guns. Overall airguns are way over priced...but what isn't nowadays.

You get those shooting glasses yet?
Shooting a board might not be such a good idea if you bounce one back on you.

Tom, I'll be ordering the front sight from Mike tomorrow.
RF, I've got shooting glasses.
So far, all pellets are penetrating deep into wood I'm not shooting at the knots. I know they are super hard and dense. I've taken heed.

I just got one of those rws320 from howie in route I think I made a good decision getting it just like my b40. I wouldn't mind a tx200 and with the right price maybe I never shot a tx so I can compare but they sure look the same I think when things are hard to get and not made any more the value goes up chinese or not

I think I'm going to bite next time Uramex has a 48 in .22. I'd have two side-lever rifles (three, if you count the B3-1), but then I'd be able to charge people ten dollars a shot to do a side-by-side comparison (unless I get subsidized by RWS, or BAM)!
What? It could happen. Well, OK. Maybe not. I guess I'll have to find another way to make my first million.
