I tried my hand at threading male threads onto a tube to put into the muzzle of a Hatsan Edge.
I didn't do so well and would really like to pay someone to make one for me. I just don't have the tools and knowledge for it.
In my attempt, the center axis of the threads was not inline with the pipe's center axis. I think the correct term is radial axis.
What I need is a 6 cm long 1/2" OD tube with minimum .30 cal ID threaded for its entire length with male 1/2 x 20 unf threads.
A 3mm through-hole 1 cm in from one end of the tube will help with installation.
Rather simple really which is why I tried to do it myself.
The tube can be any strong enough metal. I tried to use brass because its easy to work but steel is preferable.
