There never seemed to be a lot of literature on the Sheridan Air Rifles . I guess they figured " word of mouth " would be their biggest selling point. I found this on another website & thought our members would like to read it.

Sure don't see them at those prices now. When I bought one with lawn mowing money back in the late 50's, I think minimum wage was 75 cents an hour in my hometown.

That was a LOT of money back at that time, even for the C 's , when they came out.

Friends wondered why I would buy one when for less money I could buy a single shot .22lr from Sears. JC Whitney brand.

If you ever held one in your hands & looked at the quality of it , you could see why they had to charge so much for them.
