I'm wanting to venture into PCPs and the budget says Benji Disco. Sadly, it isn't backyard friendly like the .22 Maruader. That could be the deal breaker. Any suggestions on how to get into PCPs without scaring the neighbors on a budget?

Depends on what you would want, Disco's quiet down real good with a TKO. If your on a budget and want lightweight and single shot go with the Disco and a TKO. If you can save a bit more go with the M-rod, already quiet as nails and 10 shot revolving. Both are really great guns but to take the leap into PCP its going to cost a bit. I wouldn't even bother with a Benji pump and just go straight for Hill.

Get a refurb Mrod ($325-$330) and used hand pump, but you will need a scope and dovetail mounts, as well. The Mrod has allot more features, besides the quiet (shroud & baffles) over the Disco. Mainly a better trigger, repeater, and more adjustability. The disco will win out in less overall weight, if carring your rifle in the field, is a primary use.

Thanks guys. I'll check out the TKO for the Disco and see what the market has to offer on a refurbed Marauder.

TKO is the easy answer but the Mrod refurb. could be the way to go if it better suits your needs. You can't go wrong with either.
