One thing to keep in mind just looking at the Trail plastic vs wood, the wood stock has a separate trigger guard the plastic stock is molded into it so if you changed to wood you would also need a trigger guard and screws for it.
Guess I'll be calling Crosman on Monday! One thing: do I have to hunt down the model numbers for the stock, trigger guard and trigger guard screws myself, or is Customer Service golden enough to help me with that over the phone?
