Title: 1701P vs 2300s

I have a Daisy 91 (FEG) Match pistol but have lost the bulk fill adapter in moves.  I'm considering replacing it with either a 1701P or 2300s.  While I understand neither will have a trigger as good, is there a major difference between the two on triggers?
I have access to air, lost my CO2 tank (adapter was on it) and think it may be time to switch to compressed air.  Main interests are 10m informal postal shooting and silhouette shooting.  I have my own 100 yard range, with plates, and smallbore silhouettes now.  Air rails to be added very soon. 
Looks like neither of these will shoot a full 660 shot match, unless one of you has other info.

I searched last night, and read quite a few posts.  I understand I can add the marauder trigger to the 1701, I assume the other as well.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts, oh and if anyone has info on the adapter that would be a great bonus.

You do not have to do anything to the 1701P.
It is ready to right out of the box for what it was designed to do.
You have to pick a sight.
Williams was my choice.
About 50 shots on a 3000psi fill.
The 2300s is CO2.
The CAPOF forum is where you want to go to talk about the 2300S.
I have one and it is great.
People put the 1701P trigger on other pistols..
Both pistols have LW barrels and will shoot with the best of them..

A poor choice of words on my part.

As opposed to going someplace to shoot a match, to me a postal is informal.  Its not like driving 12 plus hours then undergoing the rigors of Camp Perry or Jackson MS:) 

Still as important to shoot well, but at my time not theirs :)

If you shoot outdoors, the 1701P hands down since CO2 is so temperature sensitive. 

You also never would have to worry about having a cartridge drain down in the middle of the match.

The 1701P is slightly longer, so slightly more front heavy. It can be a little more challenging for one handed shooting.

I had both, and I stuck with the 1701P.  I would be interested to hear what you end up with.
