Hatsan mod 99

I have a Hatsan mod 99 which is really a 95 with a barrel lock. I haven't fired it for a while so took it out and warmed it up.
At home in my workshop is was shooting just about one hole groups from a standing position with the forehand rested at 12 metres. When I took it to the small bore range groups at 25yds opened up to about 30 mms at best and 40 at worst, shooting prone with the forehand rested.
NOTE. Break barrels and underlever springers are not the best for small bore range shooting because of the shooter movement required and that raises the heart rate.
The gun is in good condition but with the following modifications that were made long ago.
1. 75 mms (3 inches) docked of muzzle. Recrowned. I think docked it at a tight spot in the bore.
2. Piston drilled to take some weight out . Can"t remember the details but perhaps a quarter to a third of its weight.
3.Spring shortened by 2 coils and ends flattened and polished.
4. Top hat removed, thrust washer added.
5 New rear spring guide.
6. Quattro trigger adjusted to my preference. Not too light but easy let off.
7. Hatsan piston seals are unobtainable here so replaced with a standard hydaulic seal. Maybe one I made but can't remember.
7. Shoots JSB 8,4 gns in .177 at about 14 ft lbs. No chrony info on that.
8. The characteristic Hatsan discharge crash, that vintage, is now much tamed.
I don't think the piston seal is the cause because the 12 metre shots are consistent. The mods I have made have achieved what I wanted but apart from getting chrony I wonder what to do to improve the 25 yd accuracy. I am just an average accuracy shooter.
Suggestions and experience please.
