I'll call Trenier today and see if Jeff would sell me just a plenum for a .25. and go from there. Hope I don't have to purchase another new regulator. Thanks guy for all the advice. Kurt.
Well had to order the .25 regulator. He didn't have just the plenum available. Should be here next week. Will update once I get a chance to test it. I read through Bob's post. Not sure I'm comfortable enough to do the port work myself.
Bob have a question. Since I have my valve and tube marked for which way is up. Would there be any benefit to closing off all the holes except to the two that face upward towards the valve? I don't feel comfortable doing the port work but this I would do.Thanks, Kurt
And on the same subject, a second question ...I was birthday gifted a new regulator for my Bullboss .22! I have two air cylinders, a stock 230cc one with a depinger, and a 180cc "tuned" (ports done, etc. etc.) one.Obviously, I want to have one regulated with a steady shot count, and one unregulated for power shots!Which one should get the regulator? Considering the smaller one will lose even more space when it is installed .... Or should I put the tuned valve cover on the big tube with the regulator (without the depinger)? and make the smaller one stock after adding the depinger to it? And what is a good setting for the regulator in order to achieve (give or take) 30fpe with 18.1 JSBs (the most accurate pellet in my barrel)Sorry for many questions, but I would rather not reinvent the wheel, if somebody else has already done all this!Any insight from experienced users would be greatly appreciated! Donny, any suggestions?Thank you all!
