I didnt mess with. Mine …but it shoots avanti’ s pretty hard…and is accurate at 25 feet ,which is all I need for a BB gun…..I will say this I tried 30 yards and it did really well with just a touch of hold-over….good luck

The Avantis were .1738 to .1751. So the Avantis are bigger enough that I'd recommend testing a few rolled down the barrel for fit before assuming they won't jam it up. From what I have read, unjamming an oversized steel BB from a steel barrel is not a lot of fun.
