Just to make you jealous, here is a Google Earth view of one of the locations I have permission to shoot ground squirrels and marmots on, just 10 km. away....



The two red lines are 500 and 1000 yards long, so running out of range for testing airguns is not an issue....  8)

I have actually been shooting gophers (ground squirrels) there for several years.... Unfortunately a year ago, our floods wiped out the Kettle Valley Rail Trail which I used to take my ATV there, so I didn't get to shoot last year (but the ranch was recovering from being flooded anyways).... I will now have to drive my car there, which will restrict my access (knee problems).... so I hope to do more ELR target shooting instead.... and take out any gophers silly enough to appear....  ;)
