Have you checked your piston cup?You know, years I wondered why my 1377 became inconsistent; it gave me different velocities Turned out the the pivot hole became oval, so every pump that I made did not produce the same volume of suctioned air
They better be, I've got one sealing the check valve for filling my liberty and it's been fine for about a year. I tried the Capt Oring replacement but it didn't work. The rest of the kit worked fine but not that 1 Oring.
The suspect O-ring is the one between the two pieces of the valve body?
HF O-rings are only a palliative remedy, but I already said this on PAGE 1.
Just curious, other than the normally expected compression set, could you see what was wrong with the originals? Surface cracking, brittle, etc...or still pliable?
To my untrained eye, the HF o-rings I took out of the 1377 seemed fine.
Does that mean the HF orings get a thumbs down or did you just replace them based on what others said in this thread?

I retrofitted 3 and all 3 ended up with leaks / failures to compress - even the ones that sat there not being used. A bit disappointing. The O-Ring Store o-rings are holding up good so far!Turby
