Do small changes in elevation affect POI?

Also, getting the scope height above the bore close to accurate is extremely important to getting good info out of the apps.  It was the one important bit of info you did not share.  As others have said, the pellet flies in an arc, but the line of sight from the scope is a straight line.  POI/POA ballistic calculations are about the intersection of these two paths.
