Last week an old working buddy dropped in, he had found a bunch of parts guns for me to tinker with. The 788 was intact, but missing the bb door, and needed resealing ( it was a bugger) and from the assortment of 760 parts I built a shooter. Also thanks to John,( jmoronic) that had some of the missing pieces) 760 on top was Phase one Hammer drop from 1977 and the 788 was from 1980.Apologies if I don't quite have the right stock on the 760, I am not sure, but it fits fine.
Almost looks like a successor of the Hahn Super BB Repeater .Nice guns Wendell!

The barrel on it was rifled, but two far gone, shot like a scatter gun. now it has a smooth bore that I'll get to try. Found a secret (for me) on bluing the barrel. LOLYours look like fine shooters! Is the Hahn rifled? Is that a co2 plug I see?
I think the problem with this rifled barrel is it has holes into the bore where the front and rear sight are screwed on. I have cleaned and cleaned, and the bore looks nice, and I've recrowned twice. And I have chased my shots, adjusting the scope, and even tried a different scope. lol I'll try it tomorrow with the smooth bore.
