I just pulled my Benjamin Traveller Gen2 compressor cover off to check a few things and found some items that need IMMEDIATE attention!
#1 the air inlet tube that also supplies silicone oil (a few drops here and there) was not connected to the head of the compressor. Stick that back in so it gets lubed.
#2 this is more important!!! Every screw that connects a wire to the 120/240 volt supply was loose. Loose enough to possibly cause overheating which could result in a fire! You should check this as soon as possible and either tighten the screws, or if loose send it back for warranty!!!
There is a plastic cover over the screws, it pivots down from the top to access the screws. I could wiggle the wires side to side on several which is what tipped me off to the problem. Every screw had loctite on it which I broke to tighten them. That makes me think it didn't get done right at the factory.
Mine has a circuit board that says "New Warrior" on it, I'm guessing this is the company that was contracted to build these. It does look a little like one of the New Warrior branded compressors.
