Put my stormrider spring in the .22 Chaser new cart 460 fps 455fps 450 fps 445 fps 445 fps with cphp 14.3.
Heavy trigger huh you using the stock trigger spring? I went with bic lighter spring on all mine.
i did add a lighter valve spring
first shot new spring 587 fps with 14.5s../next shot 567..third shot 524fps .. the longer i wait between shots the more consistent obviously.. Ive buit a lot of co2 guns (from 3 fpe to 100 fpe ) and the chaser responds well to hammer energy./.DOWNSIDE trigger got heavier , not heavy , but more like a 2240 trigger cocking still easy , but a lot harder than stock.. generally a replacement spring needs to be shorter than stock , because the hammer spring guide is tapered.4th shot after 1 minute break577.. So this would be illegal in the Uk lol5th shot 544.. i do think , even with the heavier trigger its a good gainOne more negative , the gun needs to be cocked while loading a co2
Sounds like the cocking screw has worked itself loose. If that's the case you will need to take it apart. Ok never mind lol.
Thanks for the reply i do appreciate it. Its all good tho i always kind of kicked myself in the butt for not spending the little bit more for the rifle kit. But now i know theres a possibility where something can get loose and i can fix it.
its 2.8 by .382 by .040 wire ( 1mm ) time to scour .. here it is , beast , 3 inches long , .054 wire https://www.mcmaster.com/springs/length~3/od~3-8/id~0-267/
I ended up ordering those springs and they were far too stiff to use.
