Is nobody into the UK stuff anymore
Not too many British springers around anymore, apart from antiques with oversized bores in .22, difficult to get accurate pellets for, and somewhat moldy performance (for the most part). Who'd thought 50 years ago, that legendary BSA and Webley would end belly up and sold to El Cheapo makes in Spain and Turkey? Even Theoben folded their (gas) springer line almost a decade back. Now, Air Arms is the only player in town, and too expensive for many potential buyers. There's a showroom Theoben Eliminator .22 cal for sale locally here. If I could deal with gasrams, I might just bite.I did get a BSA-made (in England) 2006 Hurricane 1250, that I'll put up here when I get to it. It's way different than the "same" gun manufactured in Spain soon after that. I know since I have both.
