Title: Lyman Electronic Digital Trigger Pull Gauge
Post by: Gear_Junkie on December 03, 2018, 07:58:27 PM
Amazon recently had the Lyman 7832248 Electronic Digital Trigger Pull Gauge on sale for $35 so I picked one up.  I was curious to know how low the trigger pull is on each of my rifles.  The instructions are clear, the build quality is decent, the device is easy to use, and it comes in a nice case.

Below is a summary of my results:

I measured the trigger pull on my Regal at an average of 7oz over 5 readings.  The readings would vary +/- by about .5oz.

I measured the trigger pull on my HW50S at an average of 1lb-3oz over 5 readings.  The readings would vary +/- by about 1oz.

Overall, I'm happy with the device - especially at $35.

Yes, they work OK, and I paid full price for mine :'( The screen on mine had bubbles, like when they put that clear stick on covering. However, I found the covering to be on the inside and had to take it apart to remove. Almost didn't get it back together. Star wars technology inside. :o

Thanks for posting this Zack, I’ve had one of these in my cart for awhile now, didn’t realize the price dropped.  One of the few gadgets that I don’t have yet  ::)

Thanks for the tip.  I just ordered one.  I also put it on the Bargain Gate in case anyone else wants the deal.

You're welcome, Joe!

Thanks Thomas!  I probably should have done that.
