I am getting out of PCPs, mainly because high power airguns no longer interests me. Also the care needed to avoid accidents from high pressure air and oils which seems hard to avoid with all the machine tools around me. So, not doing this to get a pat in the back for my endeavors in my projects here. I converted my two old PCPs to CO2 cartridges that will be more comfortable for me. The CO2 powerplants in these rifles are from Crosman 2240 pistols, they can be adapted to fit inside the air tubes of my PCPs which are old RWS Excalibres or also known as FX Tarantulas. Accuracy of both rifles are one hole groups at 30 feet, I know its close but that is the range I shoot rats at. One rifle is a .22, and is set at 500fps, the other is a .177 and set at 550fps.
