I purchased a CARM magazine for my Origin. When ordering I had to call my credit card service number and tell them that I was making the purchase. No problem getting it done and it's a safety thing beings it's an overseas purchase. I really like using the mag. Probably the only thing I could think of that might bug someone is that you don't know what shot your on since it's not numbered on case like factory one is. There is a black dot that you can look at to see when close to empty otherwise it stops the bolt letting you know it's empty. You also don't need to rotate the mag to start filling and it's better built to me.
Hajimoto also sells magazines for the avenger.
Thanks everyone for all your advice.Having just received the rifle 3 days ago, today was my first chance to actually shoot it, and both of the magazines that came with the rifle functioned perfectly with JSB Exact 8.44g pellets. I think I will go ahead and order 4 more of the same magazines. I like almost everything about this rifle except for the trigger, which needs some work. The location of the sling swivel holes in the plastic stock is really fubar, and needed to be reworked. I lowered the regulator pressure a bit and am averaging 903fps for the JSB 8.44g pellets, which is fine with me. I left the hammer spring as it came. As soon as I get my scuba tank refilled, I will be able to get a shot count. It would be nice to be able to shoot a 60 shot match plus some sighters on one fill.

Reg set at 1400 psi, hammer spring backed out and turned in 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 turns in. CPHP .22 cal.Vel approx 836 fps and excellent accuracy. your shot count will be close to 100 rds per fill. The CARM magazines are a superior design and build and less then $8.00 more than the OEM ones. I've used the OEM's in 3 rifles overmore than 4 yrs. They CARM mags are easier to use and far more dependable.
My only problem with the Cram Units is the pricing. Why pay $10.00 more when the OEM work fine, I have seen a mod that supposedly apply a little more pressure to the OEM Spring System making sure the mag advances properly.SO far, knock on wood, the only problem I had was my Bolt Action Methodology, I was trying to get the next round in place faster than the action would allow... I.e. JAMMED PELLETS ! Once I figured out it was me, I modified how I advance to the next pellet and all is good.So far the new magazine form UX, are working out ok.
I bought the Carm mag for my Avenger and stopped using it because it was damaging the pellet probe o-rings. I haven't had that problem with the OEM mags.
