I remember considering buying one a couple years ago but ended up deciding it was too small for what I needed.
Those Shape Rite are heavy duty. Keep an eye on the ram oiling. They have had problems with the underside of the ram scoring badly. Every one I looked at was scored.

I've used both a horizontal mill and a shaper, if I had to choose one it would be the horizontal mill.
