Not carmakers....fast food burger joints. Since giving up the Creature I've lost a bunch of weight and dabbled in fast food, but have since given that up too (I was just changing seats on the Titanic). In these parts it's McDonald's, Burger King, and Wendy's. Something has to be said for a Dave's Triple. Their fries even rival McDonald's now. McDonald's makes the best chicken sandwiches, and Burger King just flat out not worthy all around. Change my mind.
BK is having a 2 day throwback to honor 50 years. $.37 Whoppers. I do like a good Whopper.

the West had Jack in the Box
Firehouse Subs was formed in Florida by a few firemen. Those subs were AWESOME ! Nice toasted crisp sub buns and the fillings just oozed out of them. Made fresh to order. A portion of every order was donated to the fire dept.Well, so much for that... the owners of Burger King and Popeyes recently bought them out.https://www.firehousesubs.com/
I guess this is an example of "each has his own taste". 30 years ago I got a burger from Wendy's made with Rancid Beef... spit out the first bite. Swore I'd never go back and have kept that promise.I remember their "chili" was more like tomato water with yesterdays burgers crumbled in.While I do like a QP w/cheese from Mac-n-Dons, I miss their "old Fries"BK is my favorite of the 3Gimme a Whopper, Original Chicken, or simple Cheese Burger, anytime.Heck, just the smell driving past a Burger King makes my mouth water.
When it comes to the burgers, Wendy's is top dog IMHO. McDonald's and BK just seem like a lesser quality beef. Or maybe Wendy's has a higher fat content, giving it more flavor. There's no Arby's around here.
