I just wanted to say that after the week Ive had!Hunting season,4 deer down and 4 of which was with the 357!Made a awesome 80 yard neck shot this eve!Reason I am posting this is cause a few years ago I would not buy the 357 cause I had read so many reviews of bad accuracy! Not true completely.Reason I say that is cause I done some mods and got the bullet speed to fit the 1-16 twist rate.Basicly turned it into a a Cf model!Dropped the valve spring,CF bottle up graded the hammer spring and put a 4500 bust disc in.Results is Im pushing a 115 gr 1085 fps,125 gr 1050,and a 155 gr 965 fps!Been using the 125 gr with great success.1 inch groups at 50 yards is a breeze.my best fill pressure is 3500 psi with a SD of 40 fps over 4 shots.the gun can do way more shots (prolly with 80-90 fps spread but the first 4 are tight.Just wanted to share that!

Supposedly the .355-356 (9 mm) bullets/slugs don’t do well. Can you verify that? I have tons of 147 grain .355 bullets that aren’t getting any love now and I’d like to try them in a Texan.
