If you remove the end cap and baffles, but leave the shroud on, is that legal in RI? I think NJ has the same shroud exclusion, but might be just for hunting? The law is not against shrouds specifically but states:Sale or possession of silencers. It shall be unlawful within this state to manufacture, sell, purchase, or possess any muffler, silencer, or device for deadening or muffling the sound of a firearm when discharged. Violations of this section shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than one year and one day.Airguns are considered firearms in RI.I imagine that if the shroud doesn't quiet the gun without the baffles, it will be legal.

I am wanting me a 1701P pistol, but it’s not discounted
Yes, Akela for $311. Looks like the code I have is a one use only. Went for a 2nd 22. Maybe it can be converted to 25 with Kratos parts.

Thanks, I need another code because the tax brings the total to $420
Well, after leaving the Akela .22 in my cart for about 2 hours, I closed the browser. 1 min. later I get a "welcome back" email with a 10% code! This got it down to $350 + tax so I pushed the button. $378 out the door. Too bad I could not add an extra mag to the order to get the 25% off. It wouldn't let me add it to cart, but it did not say out of stock either. Oh well, can't win all the time.Harry

I don't believe the Welcome10 code will work if you've previously made an order through Crosman.com. You may want to try and checkout as a guest and see if that works.
The code I got and used was COMEBACK10. Try it, but I think the system applies it to specific accounts under certain conditions. I don't think everyone can use it but lets us know. I also tried to use it a 2nd time on other stuff and it said it's not valid. You might get an email like I did if you have not ordered from Crosman for a while, but you have to sign in, put something in your cart for a few minutes, and then sign off or close the browser. That's when I got the email saying "you have not ordered anything in a while" (has been well >6 months for me) which included the 10% code.
