"Just did a test with the compressor hooked up to the truck Battery and filled the Mrod from 2400 to 3000 psi, all worked goodtook 3 minutes"That's great and THREE minutes of NOT operating a handpump!
Kevin,I should have this compressor arriving tomorrow. Just looked on Amazon and it says it's now currently unavailable. I initially was going to get the GX3, but it had a two to three week delivery time that I didn't want to chance with all the COVID mess. Hopefully my Marauder will arrive Monday or Tuesday as estimated from Airgun Depot. Do you have link to the inline filter you have? I got this one from Amazon for $17.79 (the forum won't allow me to post links so the product title instead): Creation Core High Pressure PCP Hand Pump Air Filter Water-Oil Sparator with Female and Male Quick Connect for High Pressure Air Compressor Pump 30Mpa BlueBut I am not sure if it will be adequate.
What is the biggest tank you would attempt to fill with this CX compressor? I saw a comment on a thread about filling an 88 cf tank, but the thread was toggling between the CX2 and CX3.Also, is there any reason you could not fill a particularly large tank with any small travel type compressor if you allowed several cooling phases?
Congrats Johnny, I think you will love the compressor.
Mine arrived yesterday. It actually came with a little black whip filter, about 2/3 the size of the blue one I bought. The bleed screw is right at the base of the machine, so I'll just make sure the gun is higher than the gun and I think that will allow most of the water to drain to the bleed screw. Now just waiting on my guns. I have an order with Airgun Depot. I ordered an R7 along with the Marauder. The R7 is on backorder. They told me the rest of the order would ship without the R7, but that was on Tuesday and I have not gotten any notice that anything has shipped yet...
