Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
Come one, come all... Casual Match #2 of 2021/2022 is open for business.!!!
The Casual Match is a fun match. Shoot whatever you want at 10M (more or less depending on what you have available), use any position or rest that you prefer. See below for the details.
Rules are the same as for the 50’ Casual Match, except distance is 10M instead of 50’, using the 50’ target of choice. If you are limited to distance, shoot at whatever distance you have available. Classes are PCP Rifle (includes any rifle except spring or nitro pistons), Jumper (Piston Rifle, spring or gas), and Pistol. One entry may be made in each class.
The match #2 will run 2 weeks, through Sunday, 12/12/21.

This is my first match. I shot this target using my friend Charlie's rifle at his range. This is a sweet gun to shoot. Thank you Charlie.

Aired up the Benji Kratos for the PCP entry... She has been my 50yrd+ gun, but for this I cranked down the "Strangle Screw" to the minimum and re-zeroed the scope.
Scanning the target I subtracted one "X" from 13 to 12 because bull #5 did not scan in my favor. :-[

Started at bottom left. Scope adj. 3 times , finally an X. Moved up and then moved left etc. Very little wind but The Lord was blessing me. Best I have had in a long while.

I am out for the Springer class this match. I was struggling with constant shot placement on my 300s.
Kept twerking the knobs which is really uncommon. She is usually rock solid.
Groups kept growing... really had me frustrated!
So I dismounted and smoked a cigarette.
Came back in and saw this.

Its too late for a real score so I will leave these here for the fun of it. I have pretty much finished my wifes carriage house, of which the underneath is my shop so I have a 10m Indoor range this winter.

I didn’t have any of the proper targets printed and wanted to shoot. After the first target I was tired, and figured I had to be points short, so I’ve always wanted to shoot the pumper, it was sighted so I shot another.
Promise next month I’ll be a follower.

Mark, if you need targets printed, just let me know. I don't want anybody missing out just because they dont have some fancy paper. 8)

I'm good. Printed some tonight and shot a card for fun too. Then came in and looked for the pdf to mod my 753 trigger. I'll do it this winter for sure. Only had the gun for 25 or so years I think.
Anyway It wasn't that I could not print them, I was just in the shop talking to dad on the video chat and shooting when I decided to shoot the rifle. So this month I'll be better off. Also I ordered some more wadcutter pellets. The pointed ones are pesky to score.
