Thanks everyone !!! Dave the semi auto gives a new meaning to a second chance on a fox squirrel.  It was about 30 yards away, immediately after the first shot it barked and that was my second chance.

Nice shooting on the Fox nutter Wayne! 

I have not seen a squirrel here in a couple of months.  Many towns in my county are noticing that the squirrels are gone.  Don't know what's going on.  Disease maybe?

Thanks Harry !!!  I never heard of a disease that kills them off however when I read your reply I did a search for your area and it appears to be "Oak Tree Masting"

Harry I'm sure that if you read this reply you'll read up about this, it's unreal how Oak trees actually communicate with each other ???

Is there much agricultural growing in the areas? Corn and soybeans?
