I have a lightly used Shadow 1000 I bought about 2003, it does 875 fps with 7.9 gr. CPHP so it and your Shadow are on the same page.
I finally bought one and I can just thank everyone here for this fantastic opportunity to move from the water filled food tin device to a more considerable method. I had tried some Android apps, too, but adjusting them to the environment noise revealed tricky. Now I'm getting used to it - I've got the barrel clamped one but I don't use the clamping device, and I found the modest rifles and pistols I own are not as powerful as I thought... For example, with .177 CPHP pellets : > Crosman 1377 10 pumps (stock version:) : 508.5 FPS> Crosman 2100 12 pumps : 643 FPS> Artemis LR 700W (aka Seneca Dragonfly) 8 pumps : 692 FPS> Airstrike (Webley Rebel) 10 pumps : 669 FPSAnd two surprises in opposite ways : > with 6.94 gr pellets, I couldn't get more than 361 fps from my Beeman P17. Doesn't seem to leak, though.> but with 8.80 gr pellets, my Crosman Vantage NP delivered a pleasant 863 fps, which provides 14.47 FPE what is more than powerful enough for me.So, yes, I'm having fun. Thanks again
