If you ever take the trigger apart, and find, upon reassembly, that the gun cocks, but, the sear won't engage, its because you have to cock the gun and pull the trigger, while the barrel is pulled all the way back, to reset the sear plates.You'll hear an audible click. Release the trigger, load and fire the gun.After that, the gun will function normally.
