Making Homemade Pcp( Questions )

I will gonna make my first homemade pcp this Christmas, I want to verify the safetyness of the materials that i will be using.@3000psi
My first question is, is it safe to use ss304 sched. 40 for my 2nd air reservoir @3000psi.
My second question, what should be the thread for the OFFSET(Al. T6 6061) to connect to the air reservoir(ss304).
Third Questiorn, what should be the size of the hole of the air transfer port.
Fourth Question, is it safe to use sa304 m5 hex socket cap allen bolt for holding the valve and the offset as fastener.
Fifth Question, what should be the minimum displacement i should make to get 900-1000fps for the Firing Pin of the valve. For example. 1inch, which a hammer must strike 1 inch to reach the front of the valve.
Sixth Question, @ what Psi should i set my rgulator to get 900-1000fps
Could you refer me to a reliable book?

1. Cannot even begin to answer without dimensions for the pipe, ie OD and ID.... You may be able to find a pressure rating on the exact pipe you plan to use....
2. Thread will depend on the above....
3. Port diameter will depend mostly on caliber.... Generally about 75% of the caliber is used for pellets....
4. Number of screws required, their size, and how they are mounted, will depend on the dimensions of the pipe ID, wall thickness, and the pressure....
5. PCP valves are generally open to the reservoir, so their internal volume doesn't matter much.... Generally a volume of 1 cc per FPE is recommended for the chamber the air is drawn from....
6. PSI depends on barrel length, caliber, and pellet weight.... You figure out the FPE and then work backwards to get the pressure you need....
If you have never owned a PCP and torn it apart and rebuilt it.... and completely understand the operating procedures, and the stresses involved on every part, not just the reservoir.... I would NOT recommend you attempt to build your own, as HPA is very dangerous.... It is unfair to ask someone else to design your gun for you, IMO....

If you watch his videos, he is using a bicycle pump to pressurize his gun.
Risk factor is
NOT EVEN CLOSE !!
to using a HPA cylinder.
Be safe.
The information you are asking for is available from engineering (strength of materials) sites, and some suppliers.
For example, www engineeringtoolbox.com/stainless-steel-pipes-pressure-ratings-d_346.html
www aftfasteners.com/socket-cap-screws-dimensions-and-mechanical-properties/
For example, the yield strength of a 1/4" Fine thread alloy SHCS is 5,900 lbs minimum, but stainless is only 1,455.
