Is depending of the size of your hand
and
the position of your hand when aiming. Made one myself and cost me only some scrap alu and a couple of hours hobbying.

I'll use the Marauder trigger as an example because both a setback trigger (from RAW) and a target type trigger from Rowan Engineering is available for it, and the trigger group can be used on multiple platforms...
For any serious plinking and/or target work, I prefer an adjustable target type trigger from Rowan:
For field work, hunting, general use I prefer a swept back type trigger:
The reasoning for each is this:
For target shooting, where accuracy is key to winning, it's all about consistency. The more the gun fits you, the less you have to think because you get back into that perfect shooting position every time. Less time fiddling/worrying about how your gun fits, more time focusing on shooting.
For field/general work, most people are just looking for a smooth, predictable trigger pull. A swept back trigger just feels better to me. It fits me better without being overly adjustable, and I don't have to worry about bumping it as much as I would with a target trigger. A setback trigger on a field/general use gun is "good enough for gov't work".
